Overview
StyloShare respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 ("DMCA"), we will respond expeditiously to claims of copyright infringement.
Filing a Takedown Notice
If you believe content on StyloShare infringes your copyright, please provide the following information to our DMCA Agent:
- Your contact information - Name, address, phone number, and email
- Identification of copyrighted work - Description or link to the original work you claim is being infringed
- Infringing material URL - The specific StyloShare URL(s) containing the allegedly infringing material
- Good faith statement - A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner
- Accuracy statement - A statement that the information in your notice is accurate, under penalty of perjury
- Your signature - Physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized representative

Response Timeline
- Acknowledgment: Within 24 hours of receipt
- Content Removal: Within 24-48 hours upon valid notice
- Uploader Notification: If identifiable, within 48 hours
Counter-Notification
If you believe your content was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notification containing:
- Your physical or electronic signature
- Identification of the removed material and its prior location
- A statement under penalty of perjury that removal was a mistake
- Your name, address, phone number
- Consent to jurisdiction of federal court
Upon receiving a valid counter-notification, we may restore the content after 10-14 business days unless the complainant files a court action.
Repeat Infringers
StyloShare maintains a policy of terminating access for users who are determined to be repeat infringers. Repeat infringers may have their IP addresses blocked from accessing the Service.
Warning About False Claims
Under Section 512(f) of the DMCA, any person who knowingly misrepresents that material is infringing may be subject to liability for damages. Please ensure your claims are accurate before submitting.
